Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will I receive my EAN codes?
Usually within a few minutes. As soon as your payment is confirmed, your EAN codes and barcode images are sent automatically to your email address. You can also find them in your account at any time.
Is this a one-off purchase or a subscription?
A one-off purchase. You pay once and can keep using your codes for as long as you like – there are no annual or renewal fees.
What is the difference between your codes and GS1 codes?
With GS1 you get your own number range, registered to your company, for an annual membership fee. Our codes are valid EAN-13 numbers that we sell only once, so nobody else receives the same code from us. They are not registered to you at GS1, which is why some retailers and marketplaces do not accept them.
Where can I use your EAN codes?
On eBay, in your own webshop and on Google Shopping (own-brand products can also be listed there without a GTIN). On Amazon they are suitable for generic, unbranded listings; for branded products Amazon asks for GS1 codes, a GTIN exemption or Brand Registry. bol.com currently accepts them for unbranded items, but branded items need a GS1-registered EAN. Supermarkets, retail chains and Zalando require GS1 codes.
How many EAN codes do I need?
One per product variant. A T-shirt in three sizes and two colours is six variants, so you need six EAN codes.
Why are your prices low?
We sell each code only once and delivery is fully automated, so our costs per code stay low – and so does the price.
